XLQ contains no spyware / adware / malware. XLQ supports third party data source. Any communication and usage between xlq and these services is done directly between your computer and their servers. For required services, login information is stored encrypted and transmitted only to the services computers as needed using secure SSL encrypted connections.

Identifying Information: You can visit the Site and download a trial version of xlq without providing any information about yourself. Only if you ask a question, or request support would you need to do so by email.
When registering or renewing, to process your order you would need to provide your name, address, e-mail address, phone number and other appropriate information. If you are a registered user you will receive email notification of new releases. You will always be able to "unsubscribe" to these mailings at any time.
What Will Be Done With Your Information: If you choose to give personal information, this information is retained, and is used for no other purpose than the processing of the order for which it was supplied. You will not be added to any other mailing list or newsletter.
What Others May Do With Your Information: Other than the processing of your order, your information is used for no other purpose. Qmatix does not share, rent, or sell any personally identifying information provided to any outside organization.
QMatix does not process any orders directly, instead BMTMicro, a specialized online order fulfillment company handles all aspects of the processing, including any additional billing information which is not provided to QMatix. They will retain any information requested for order processing, but do not use or share the data for any other purpose.
When purchasing products via the web site, the order form will also ask you to provide a daytime telephone number. However, the telephone number is only used to quickly resolve questions relative to an order, such as to clarify customer email addresses that are inactive, or entered incorrectly.

QMatix does provide links to other sites. Other Internet sites and services have separate privacy and data collection practices. Once you leave www.qmatix.com, QMatix cannot control, and has no responsibility for, the privacy policies or data collection activities at another site.
QMatix avoids the use of "cookies" wherever possible. Certain services or browsing features may require them. But cookies are not used to retrieve any personal information from your computer. Nor are they used to learn ways to enhance the site, or provide personalized service while in the web site. You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or indicate when a cookie is sent.

If xlq does crash, and if possible, a crash report can be generated and sent for analysis. It is possible to disable this, but if a report can be generated you will always be asked before hand and be able to view the information prior to sending. The crash report only contains information from within xlq concerning its running state prior to the crash, and may include information on symbols being processed etc. Only programatic information related to the crash are studied and the crash reports are deleted afterwards.
